Biography
The Rt Hon Jo Johnson is a Senior Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School and Chairman of Tes, a leading UK peer-to-peer marketplace for teacher resources, recruitment and other software and services used by schools. Jo has held prominent roles in Government under three successive Prime Ministers, including Head of the No. 10 Downing Street Policy Unit; Minister of State, attending Cabinet, for Universities, Science and Innovation; as well as Minister of State for Transport and Minister for London. Before entering Parliament in 2010, he worked for Deutsche Bank and the Financial Times. He is the co-author of Reconnecting Britain and India (Academic Foundation, 2011) and The Man who Tried to Buy the World (Penguin, 2003).
