Biography
Jina An is the Head of Alumni & Stakeholder Engagement at King's Business School. Jina is responsible for connecting and engaging with the senior Business School alumni community and external stakeholders to the School's programmes, volunteering and speaking opportunities.
Jina is determined to deliver high-quality alumni events and communications to increase alumni participation and engagement. Jina leads the Professional Business Networks, King's Alumni Breakfast series and Women in Business events engaging senior alumni and external stakeholders on topics such as leadership, gender inclusivity, sustainable business and entrepreneurship.
A priority for Jina is to develop meaningful connections with our senior alumni and stakeholders to support the strategic objectives of the Business Schools.
Jina studied BA in Marketing at the University of Hull, Business School in 2013 and then completed her MA in Philanthropic Studies at the University of Kent in 2020. Her Masters dissertation, 'How does shared cultural heritage between donors and fundraisers impact on relationship-based fundraising' explored culture as a fundraising toolkit and the impact on the relationship between donors and fundraisers within UK and US charities.
Prior to her role at King's Business School, Jina worked for The Institute of Cancer Research as Head of Events and Stewardship, where she managed high profile fundraising events and stewardship communications. She also worked as Head of International Advancement at the University of Hull leading international alumni programmes, fundraising projects and communications.
