Biography

Dr Jiahua Zhu is a Lecturer in Finance at King’s Business School, King’s College London.

Her research focuses on behavioural and experimental economics, particularly in the context of experimental finance. Her work examines how information could impact on individuals' financial decision-making. She is also interested in exploring innovative methods for integrating digital finance and macroeconomic behaviours into experimental settings. She is also open to AI, green finance, among other topics.

She received a PhD ​ in Economics from the School of Social Sciences at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in October 2020. Before joining King's, she worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Essex and Tianjin University.

Dr Zhu’s research has been published in prestigious journals, including Management Science, the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, and the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization.
