Biography
My research specialisation is in computational modelling and patient-specific simulations for clinical translation. Having grown up in New Zealand, I moved to the UK for postgraduate studies to complete a DPhil in Computational Biology from the University of Oxford in 2009. I have worked in postdoctoral research positions at Oxford and King’s College London, and have been at KCL since 2011. Research-wise I have worked on various aspects of the area of coronary structure-function and modelling of perfusion, including multiscale modelling, high-resolution imaging, vascular structure reconstruction, wave intensity analysis and experimental validation. In addition, myocardial mechanics, patient specific modelling and biomechanics of tumour comprise an ongoing focus.
