Biography
Ifesinachi (Ife) Okafor-Yarwood is a former PhD student in the African Leadership Centre.
Her research seeks to explore the interaction between Illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing (IUUF) and other maritime threats in the Gulf of Guinea. She also analyses the possible (human security) implications of the prevalence of IUUF.
She has a MA in Conflict, Security and Development from the African Leadership Centre and was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Nairobi (2013-2014). OShe also has a BA in International Relations and Peace and Conflict Studies from London Metropolitan University.
Ifesinachi is a trained facilitator with the Three Faith forum, UK. She previously worked at Transparency International as an Expert Reviewer for its 2015 Defence and Corruption Index.
