Biography
Hilary joined the Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care November 2021 after previous research support roles in School of Education, Communication and Society (ECS), King’s and at Roehampton University as Head of Bids, Grants and Project Innovation and International and European Bids Coordinator.
The Faculty Research and Impact Manager coordinates and oversees the operational and administrative processes related to NMPC research, in concert with the Vice Dean for Research and Impact and Faculty Research Support Team. Hilary's primary responsibilities are:
- Coordinating pre-award and post-award grant application processes, particularly advising on, supporting, and costing research funding proposals.
- Working collaboratively with research management colleagues within and outside the Faculty to maximise funding opportunities and refine processes.
- Collecting, maintaining, and reporting research-related data including the REF.
- Supporting the development and implementation of the Faculty’s Research and Impact Strategy.
- Supporting all Postgraduate Research Student support provision.
- Supporting the Faculty's Inclusive Research and Education Practices project.
