Biography
Giuseppe joined the Department of Mathematics in 2019 after completing a master's degree at the University of Milan (UNIMI). During his studies he was an Erasmus student at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), and carried out his master's thesis research at the International School of Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste.
His main field of research is statistical physics and he is currently working on the applications and extensions of hydrodynamic ideas to study in and out-of-equilibrium low dimensional many-body quantum and classical systems. His expertise resides in both advanced mathematical and numerical methods. Giuseppe is also interested in problems at the boundary between statistical physics and other disciplines such as disordered systems, combinatorial optimisation and machine learning.
