Gina Aprilitasari is a PhD Student in Strategy, International Management & Entrepreneurship at King's Business School. Her primary research interests are the organisation and management of global professional service firms and their role in cross-border economic activities.

For her PhD thesis, Gina is studying the internationalisation and professionalisation of law firms from emerging economies. She has presented her research at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting 2024 and Strategic Management Society Conference 2024.

Gina has extensive experience in the legal industry before joining PhD program at King's Business School. She worked as a document review lawyer in the United Kingdom from August 2021 to September 2022. She worked as a paralegal in the United States from 2016 to 2020.

As a paralegal, Gina worked on cases related to the company’s data protection compliances and reorganisation. She is also a qualified attorney in Indonesia with five years of experience in foreign direct investment, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and general corporate matters. She received an LLM (Master of Laws) from the University of Minnesota, the USA, and an MSc in Business Analysis and Strategic Management from the University of Manchester.
