Francesca is a Business Operations Officer in the Department of Mathematics. In this role she provides administrative support in selected sub-areas of the business function, which includes finance, procurement, auditing, HR, events management, web editing, space management, health and safety, business continuity, information and data management and general projects. Her key responsibilities include:

• Acting as a key point of contact for service users
• Assisting with a range of procurement activity
• Organising arrangements for visitors and new members of staff
• Supporting with events administration
• Providing administrative support for various HR processes
• Responsibility for space and infrastructure, such as reporting issues and ensuring their resolution
• Departmental webpage editing
• Diary management and meeting organisation for the Head of Department
