Biography
Federica studied at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, obtaining her BSc (2014) and MSc (2016) degrees in Molecular and Cell Biology. She won a postgraduate fellowship in 2016, and started her PhD at King's in 2017 in Eggert group where she is now starting her first year of post-doc. Her research focuses on the active role of lipids in different cell processes. In particular, she investigates how lipidomic changes impact the endoplasmic reticulum’s (ER) structure and function.
