Biography
Dr Evangelia Vlachodmitropoulou is an academic consultant in Maternal & Fetal Medicine. She completed her training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in London, UK, and her PhD at UCL, London, UK, focusing on haemoglobinopathies and transfusional iron overload.
Dr Vlachodimitropoulou spent four years in Toronto, Canada, where she completed a fellowhip in Maternal & Fetal Haematology followed by subspecialist training in Maternal & Fetal Medicine.
She has a keen interest in the management of high-risk pregnancies, particularly in the field of Maternal-Fetal Haematology.

To generate new knowledge about stakeholders' views on prenatal therapy for Sickle Cell Disease, identify ethical issues and establish protocols for support.
