Professor Emily Jones
Professor of Developmental Translational Neuroscience
Biography
Professor Emily Jones is Professor of Developmental Translational Neuroscience at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London.
Her role is a joint appointment between the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the MRC Centre for Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
Emily, joining us from Birkbeck, University of London, is a long-term collaborator with a number of us and brings expertise in neurodevelopmental disorders and their development from babies through to children. Emily’s research has utilised a range of brain imaging and behavioural assessment modalities that are well-suited to these younger populations, and which are methods we want to exploit in our future research in the Pears Maudsley Clinical Research Facility.
