Eliza Gurner is a Student Engagement Officer (Geography and Global Institutes) in the School of Global Affairs.

Eliza facilitates a range of student support activities across the School with responsibilities encompassing careers, alumni, events and buddying schemes. She supports departmental academic leads in coordinating responses to annual feedback exercises and holding Student-Staff Liaison Committees (SSLCs).

Her duties include:

• planning induction meetings and graduation events
• circulating student events and opportunities via newsletters
• supporting student-led events
• managing departmental social media as pertaining to students
• servicing Student-Staff Liaison Committees (SSLCs)
• supporting student surveys (eg NSS, PTES and EvaSys)
