Biography

Dr Eleni Mantzari is a Behavioural Scientist with training in Health Psychology and expertise in Health Promotion and Behaviour Change. Her research focuses on designing and evaluating interventions for changing health related-behaviours that are linked to the development of non-communicable diseases. She is particularly interested in interventions that involve resigning environments (known as choice architecture or nudging interventions).

Eleni received her PhD in Health Psychology in 2013 from the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London. Between 2013 and 2023 she worked as Research Associate and later Senior Research Associate at the Behaviour and Health Research Unit, University of Cambridge, where she is still a visiting researcher. She worked as a Lecturer in Health Services Research at City St George’s, University of London between 2023 and 2024, before joining the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at King’s College London in September 2024 as a Senior Teaching Fellow.
