Biography
Edward is a GMP Production Scientist working in the Gene Therapy and Vector Facility (GTVF) at Denmark Hill Campus. As fill finish lead, he is responsible for the completion and validation of downstream production processes for the manufacture of adeno-associated virus (AAV) formulations. Edward completed his MPharm pharmacy degree at the University of Nottingham, before moving to Belfast and completing his PhD at Queen's University Belfast.
His research areas include microfludics, nanoformulations and aseptic processing, with a focus on scientific sustainability throughout. Edward has co-authored over 20 scientific publications in internationally-recognized journals and is an editor for AAPS springer nature books.
