Biography

Danyang Li obtained her PhD in 2018 at School of Engineering and Materials Science, Queen Mary University of London under the supervision of Dr Julien Gautrot. The research topic of her PhD thesis was focused on studying the interactions of oligonucleotides with polymer brushes and designing effective gene delivery vectors based on polymer brush science. She was awarded the C W Maplethorpe Postdoctoral Fellowship for both teaching and research, joining Prof Al-Jamal's team at Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (IPS) at King's College London. Danyang lectures in Biopharmaceuticals at IPS. Her current research interests are focused on developing novel combinatory nanovaccines based on polymer chemistry for cancer immunotherapy.
