Biography
Daryna is a Visiting Research Fellow at The Dickson Poon School of Law, University of Oxford and a member of Women in War and International Politics (WIWIP) initiative, King’s College London. Her research explores comparatively the nature of gendered migration (international) and displacement (internal) for women as a result of the war in Ukraine and analyse the challenges women faced while being displaced. During her fellowship, she is looking at the issue of mass violations of human rights committed on Ukrainian territory and in areas not controlled by the Ukrainian Government. Daryna is one of the founders of the WeForWomen Initiative which focuses on educating and empowering young women from lower socioeconomic groups. She is also the founder and a project manager of NGO the “Agents of Change!”
