Biography
Dr Danny Steed is an author, consultant, public speaker, and Lecturer in Cyber Security at both Cranfield Defence & Security (Defence Academy of the UK), and the Department of War Studies, King's College London.
As scholar-practitioner, Danny previously worked inside The Cabinet Office in operational cyber security. As a consultant, he has worked with a wide range of industries, advising and delivering cyber security guidance and training. As a public speaker, Danny delivers thought-leadership messaging and simulation exercises internationally.
His second book, The Politics & Technology of Cyberspace, was published in 2021. His third book, British Intelligence, Security & Cyber, is forthcoming with Bloomsbury in 2027.
