Biography
Daniella is currently a PhD student at the Academic Centre of Reconstructive Science at King's College London.
Prior to starting her PhD, Daniella successfully completed her MSc (Merit) in Maxillofacial & Craniofacial Technology from King’s College London in 2014. She also holds an MSc (Cum Laude with Praise) in Prosthetic Methods in Anaplastology (intra and extra-oral implant techniques) from Sapienza Universita di Roma in Italy (2011) as well as a Degree in Dentistry from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia (2009).
Daniella has also actively participated in a number of career development programes, including a Dental internship at the Oral-facial Pain Unit of the University of Kentucky in the USA, volunteering as a dentist onboard the USNS Comfort as part of the 2009 “Continuing Promise” Mission as well as volunteering as a Maxillofacial Prosthetist with King’s College London in Pune, India.
Finally, Daniella has had a number of work experiences as a Clinical Tutor in Oral Health and Laboratory Techniques, Junior Clinical Manager for a Medical & Dental practice in the UK and as a practising dentist for the Colombian Navy while being deployed in an active conflict zone.
