Biography
Daniel Yu is a Research Assistant within the Platforms for Longitudinal Mental Health Data (PALM) team, working on the Landscaping International Longitudinal Datasets (LILD) project (read the full report here) and Catalogue of Mental Health Measures.
Daniel Yu first joined the Social, Genetic & Developmental Psychiatry (SGDP) Centre in 2022 as an undergraduate placement student, before rejoining the PALM team in 2024 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Bath. Daniel is also a Placement Student Representative for the 2024-25 academic year.
Daniel is interested in the aetiology and treatment of mental health conditions, and has previously undertaken research regarding the interplay between depression, social isolation and inflammation across adolescence.
