Summary:

I have worked within the Cardiothoracic specialty for almost three decades. In 2023, I completed my PhD on post – operative delirium.

In 2019, I was appointed in the role of Clinical Nurse Manager for Advanced Practice. In this role, I oversee specialist teams in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine.

Besides leading groups of enthusiastic and driven specialist nursing teams, I am keen to continue providing evidenced based clinical care at an advanced level. In order to undertake this role efficiently, I strive to engage in relevant research and educational opportunities thereby supporting all four pillars of advanced practice.
