Biography
Catherine Le Texier, Deputy Team Leader for French and French teacher is a native French speaker who studied Anglo-Saxon cultures at the University of Rennes II, France. She also holds a teaching certificate CELTA. After an Erasmus exchange at the University of Northumbria, she decided to start her teaching career in the UK. Catherine has 20 years of experience in teaching French. She joined King’s College London in 2005 and was appointed Deputy Team Leader in 2016. She oversees the provision of Assessed Modules, PG only and LAHP courses for French. She is also responsible for the Widening Participation for the Modern Language Centre. Catherine is interested in collaborative learning and speaking skills. She is also passionate about language outreach activities for London schools.
