Atsuko joined King's College London as a Business Development Officer in the autumn 2008. Before joining King's, she worked in some private sector companies in Japan and London. She is the Business Support Manager for the King's Language Center providing financial, HR, Estates, Health and Safety, compliance, and other operational support for the Department.  

Atsuko also manages the Language Resources Centre, a language library run by the King's Language Centre for which she is responsible for service management. The Language Resources Centre is a focal point for delivering student-facing language-learning opportunities where any language learners are welcome. 

Atsuko holds a MA in History from the University of Nottingham and a MBA from Warwick Business School. She is a member of the CIEL EDI committee.
