Biography

Alisha Sheikh holds a BA Honours degree in International Business with French from the University of Hertfordshire. During her degree she participated in two study abroad programmes: one year at Bishops University in Sherbrooke, Canada, and another year at EDHEC Business School in Nice, France. After graduating she worked as a SEN Teaching assistant in the Secondary Education sector. She joined King’s College London in 2019 and worked at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience before joining the Modern Language Centre in 2021.

Responsibilities

  • Providing assistance to the users of the Language Resources Centre
  • Delivering and developing the administration of Tailor-Made language tuition
  • Events organisation
  • Support of the department’s marketing and financial activity
  • Internal communication
