The Senior Business Operations Manager works directly in support of the Executive Dean and the Director of Operations to help the faculty to achieve its strategic and operational aims. They do this by overseeing and managing resources in all areas of the business operations function including finance, procurement, auditing, HR, space, health and safety, business continuity, information and data management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Utilising their strong data-skills to support planning and development within the faculty, providing faculty leadership with research, analysis and insight.
  • Utilising their strong process management skills to design and implement robust and effective processes to deliver operational goals in line with business requirements. They will do this with an eye to the faculty’s internal and external interfaces, partnering with broader university services, adopting a continuous improvement mindset to improve and refine as they go, and encouraging and enabling that mindset throughout their team.
  • Deploying their strong leadership and people management skills to achieve the above objectives, and to lead the faculty’s business operations teams in adopting the culture above.
