Dr Wladyslawa (Wladzia) Czuber-Dochan is a Reader in Nursing and Applied Health Research in the Department of Adult Nursing at the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care, King’s College London.

Her PhD explored fatigue in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Dr Czuber-Dochan has developed the IBD-fatigue patient self-assessment scale, which has been translated and validated in countries worldwide for use in research and clinical practice. Dr Czuber-Dochan is a member of the Scientific Board for Crohn’s & Colitis UK and Chair of Nurse-European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation.

Her recent focus is on symptom management and developing and testing the acceptability and effectiveness of complex behavioural online interventions for fatigue, pain, and stress in IBD.

She is an experienced supervisor for Doctoral/PhD studies, and she welcomes interest from prospective PhD students in the areas related to her research.
