Biography

I've been working as an English Teacher for over 9 years. In 2019, I completed Trinity CertTESOL, which helped me improve my teaching methods. Most recently, I graduated from King’s College London in 2023 with a Master's in Applied Linguistics and Teaching English, further enhancing my expertise in the field and ability to support students in their academic journey.

At Bell London I was teaching project based lessons to students from various cultural backgrounds, promoting teamwork and active engagement. I later joined Kaplan College, where I focused on teaching English for Academic Purposes, helping students navigate the language requirements for their postgraduate and undergraduate studies.

My current research interests focus on language anxiety, particularly among non-native English-speaker teachers, which I explored in my dissertation. I am also interested in impact of language anxiety on students and their performance. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring London’s green spaces, going to comedy shows, and taking photographs.
