Biography
Project Title: Essays on Firm-Bank Interaction and Firm Behavior

Ahmet Deryol is a PhD Student in Banking & Finance at King's Business School. Ahmet holds MSc degree in Finance and Quantitative Analysis and BSc degree in Business Administration from Bilkent University where he was admitted with full scholarship.
Prior to joining King’s College London, he worked at several regulatory and supervisory institutions in Turkey including the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Borsa Istanbul and the Central Bank of Turkey (CBRT). He was also one of the writers of Financial Stability Reports published by the CBRT. After 8 years of experience in Financial Stability Department of the CBRT, he has started his PhD studies in Banking and Finance area.
His studies are funded by Qatar Centre for Global Banking and Finance.His research interests are credit risk, financial stability, systemic risk, central banking and macroprudential policies. Also, he is a CFA charterholder.
