Biography
Adebusuyi (Ade) Adeyemi is a PhD student in the Department of Global Health & Social Medicine. He is a Global Health Policy Expert who works as a Director of a Fellowship programme at the Think Tank Chatham House, where he supports Ministry of Health stakeholders across Africa, helping to strengthen their leadership and policy development capacity.
Ade also works on Global Health policies for UK government departments and bodies such as the NHS and Department of Health and Social Care. He is the Managing Director of the world’s biggest Global Health Jobs platform www.globalhealthjobs.com, which supports the career development of thousands of healthcare professionals around the world and helps healthcare organisations around the world address their resourcing challenges.
Ade is the founder and Executive Director for the African Healthcare Hackathon (www.ahhack.com), an annual hackathon (an event typically lasting several days where a large number of people collaborate intensively on a project) that has worked on developing solutions for organisations such as WHO, Médecins Sans Frontières, Save the Children and UNICEF.
He has an MBA from HULT International Business School, an MSc from King’s and an MPharm from the University of Portsmouth.
