The Anthony & Susan Chow Scholarship
The Anthony & Susan Chow Scholarship
King’s College London is delighted to announce a most generous gift from Mr Anthony Chow JP FKC and Mrs Susan Chow to establish the Anthony & Susan Chow Scholarship. The scholarship is intended to support exceptional international students wishing to study musicology, ethnomusicology or composition at King’s. The Anthony & Susan Chow Scholarship will fund one master’s student with financial support to study at the Department of Music, King’s College London. The scholarship is £30,000 for full-time study and will cover the cost of tuition fees and help towards living costs for the one-year duration of the master’s programme. The scholarship is available to students commencing their studies in September 2018/19, and applicants to the programme will be automatically considered for this award when submitting their application to the programme.
In addition to this scholarship programme will be an international travel prize, awarded to the most exceptional undergraduate Music student who has excelled in their final music performance exams. This prize will aid the talented recipient in an international tour over the next academic year, allowing them to experience international performance opportunities. In order to apply, final year students must submit an application detailing a plan of where they would like to perform and a budget. The recipient of this prize will be selected shortly after the final year recitals in June.
