Students 'trade' lecture theatre for museum!
The global trade and commerce that shaped London was in the spotlight as a group of students from the School of Politics and Economics visited the Docklands Museum.

The visit took place on 17 March and saw a group of more than 40 students studying on the international trade module enjoy a visit to the museum near Canary Wharf.
Before its transformation into a hub of banking and finance, the area occupied by the museum was home to a network or wharfs and warehouses that for decades served as the epicentre of the capital’s maritime logistics and trade industries.
The museum also offers a detailed history of the East India Company and its role in the growth and development of London.
The visit was organised by Professor Pierre Louis Vezina, from the Department of Political Economy at King's.
