King's College Council members external interests
20 May 2021
King’s College Council is the university’s governing body and comprises a mixture of independent and staff members, including the university’s President & Principal and President of King’s College London Students’ Union. Lord Geidt, a King’s alumnus, has been Chairman of King’s College Council since August 2016. We are aware of a motion from a member of the University and College Union (UCU) regarding Council member interests.
Every year, all members of Council, including the Chairman, submit a record of their current interests which is publicly available online. Lord Geidt has provided invaluable service to King’s over the past five years. We look forward to continuing to work under his stewardship with full confidence, as we prioritise the wellbeing of our students and staff and our commitment to provide world leading education and research.
