SW London ICS staff can apply including those working in the VCSE sector. Applications close Sunday 14 July with interviews taking place on 16 August 2024. See Applications Open for Cohort Two of the SWL ICS Digital Pioneer Programme - DigitalHealth.London This programme has already been running for three years with 38 fellows already having completed their projects.

The webinar comprised information about the opportunity and presentations from three fellows from last year. One GP discussed improvements in implementing virtual ward technology. Another fellow, Glyne Barrow from Merton Council, discussed improvements to OT and MH IT systems. He discussed his involvement in the fellowship and his professional development including project management, networking, personal development and reflective practice. Glyne thanked everyone involved including his mentor and stated it was a great learning opportunity. Martin Ellis, Chief Digital Information Officer NHS SW London noted there are 1.5 million people living in SW London and it is important that digital solutions can be made to work across the health and social care system to improve services for staff and service users/public.
