Professor Stephen Bach appointed to the International Management board of the Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association

The King’s Business School Executive Dean has joined the management board of the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and the Business Graduates Association (BGA), one of the three major international membership and quality assurance bodies for leading business schools worldwide. In this role he will provide expertise and insight to the growing network of AMBA-BGA accredited business schools around the world.

Appointed alongside Professor Bach is Morris Mthombeni, the Dean of the Gordon Institute of Business Science in Johannesburg.

The International Management Board will benefit hugely from the expertise and insights from Professors Mthombeni and Bach. Their values align very closely with those of AMBA & BGA, and I look forward to working with them over the coming years as we continue to support our members across the world in delivering excellent business education.

Wendy Loretto, Chair of AMBA & BGA

Through its focus on continuous improvement and the exchange of ideas, accreditation is an important part of our sector’s collective mission to help leaders and organisations of all kinds meet the challenges facing them. Having brought a relatively new business school into the AMBA community for the first time, I am delighted to now join the AMBA BGA International Advisory Board and play my part in helping more schools to navigate the opportunities and uncertainties of today’s environment.

King’s Business School received its accreditation by the Association of MBAs in May 2023. The school is also accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and holds the EFMD EQUIS accreditation, making up the so-called ‘triple-crown’ accreditation held by fewer than one per cent of the world’s business schools.
