Dina Asher-Smith

Sprinter Dina Asher-Smith (History, 2017) is the fastest woman in British history, holding national records in the 100 and 200m. She will be competing in both events at the Olympics, as well as the 4x100m relay.

No British woman has ever taken a gold medal in the 100 or 200m, but Dina has had a successful summer already with a British 200m title and a fifth European 100m gold.

Dina was named Alumna of the Year 2021 at the King’s Distinguished Alumni Awards. She achieved a number of success while still a student at King's, including becoming the fastest teenager in history at the 2015 World Championships.
