To all of the alumni who kindly donated, were one our fabulous Giving Day Champions who helped spread the word, or a member of our esteemed Kingsmaker Guild, we would like to extend a huge thank you for being part of this special event. Your contribution, however big or small, will help King’s continue to provide vital student support and invest in world-class research.

King's Global Day of Giving raises more than £60,000 to support students and world-leading research
In November 2021, King’s held the second ever King’s Global Day of Giving, and raised more than £60,000
In November 2021, King’s held the second ever King’s Global Day of Giving, a 48-hour digital fundraising event which brought the global alumni community together with the shared vision of supporting students to reach their full potential and driving forward life-changing research. Through Global Day of Giving 2021, and thanks to the fabulous support of our alumni, we were able to raise over £63,000, a phenomenal effort over just two days!
For many bright individuals, university isn’t always an option, but the money raised from the King’s Global Day of Giving 2021 means that we can continue to provide programmes such as the K+Scheme. The scheme empowers pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds to apply for higher education, giving them the knowledge and confidence to realise their ambitions. Through the Hardship Fund, we ensure that there’s a safety net for any student facing financial adversity with nobody else to rely on. Via the Civic Leadership Academy, we enable students from all backgrounds to make the most out of their degree and set them up for meaningful careers beyond university.
As well as supporting students, the money raised through the Giving Day could also help fund the next life-changing research projects here at King’s.
Through the King’s Global Day of Giving, together we are helping to make a positive difference in the world. Thank you to our incredible alumni for your continued support.
King’s Global Day of Giving will take place again in November 2022.
