IoPPN researchers among most cited in the world
Clarivate's 2024 Highly Cited Researchers list features 28 IoPPN academics and researchers.
The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) is proud to announce that 28 of our academics have been named on the annual Highly Cited Researcher 2024 list from Clarivate released today.
The highly anticipated annual list identifies researchers who demonstrated significant and broad influence in their chosen field or fields through the publication of multiple highly cited papers during the last decade. This small fraction of the researcher population contributes disproportionately to extending the frontiers of knowledge and contributing to innovations that make the world healthier, more sustainable and drive societal impact.
Each researcher selected has authored multiple Highly Cited Papers™ which rank in the top 1% by citations for their field(s) and publication year in the Web of Science Core Collection over the past decade. Citation activity is not the sole selection indicator.
This year’s list continues to recognise researchers whose citation records position them in the very highest strata of influence and impact. Of the world’s population of scientists and social scientists, Highly Cited Researchers are 1 in 1,000.
King’s College London has 37 entries in this year’s list, with 28 of those working at, or affiliated with, the IoPPN. These are:
