IoPPN researchers among most cited in the world

Clarivate's 2024 Highly Cited Researchers list features 29 IoPPN academics and researchers.

Highly cited 2024 780x440

The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) is proud to announce that 29 of our academics have been named on the annual Highly Cited Researcher 2024 list from Clarivate released today.

The highly anticipated annual list identifies researchers who demonstrated significant and broad influence in their chosen field or fields through the publication of multiple highly cited papers during the last decade. This small fraction of the researcher population contributes disproportionately to extending the frontiers of knowledge and contributing to innovations that make the world healthier, more sustainable and drive societal impact.

Each researcher selected has authored multiple Highly Cited Papers™ which rank in the top 1% by citations for their field(s) and publication year in the Web of Science Core Collection over the past decade. Citation activity is not the sole selection indicator.

We work hard to cultivate a world class research environment at IoPPN, and our impact is influential and global. The presence of so many researchers on the 2024 list is a recognition of their expertise and how they are advancing science in their fields. Congratulations to all our highly-cited researchers.

Professor Matthew Hotopf, Executive Dean at IoPPN
