To explore perspectives on what’s holding back greater change in the fight for gender equality, on 11 April the Global Institute for Women's Leadership hosted a panel discussion between women who are leaders in their chosen fields:
- The Hon Julia Gillard AC, the first woman to serve as Prime Minister of Australia
- Katharine Viner, the first female Editor-in-chief of the Guardian
- Zamila Bunglawala, Deputy Director, Strategy and Insight, Cabinet Office Race Disparity Unit
- Joanna Ludlam, partner at law firm Baker McKenzie who in 2016 was named as one of The Lawyer magazine’s “Hot 100” for her practice
