First joint Perio student symposium held at King's College London
The joint symposium with the Universities of Paris Cite’, Strasbourg and ACTA was held at King’s College London on 26th April.
Focusing on the subject of periodontology, the four institutions are members of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP)-approved programmes.
Approximately 60 MClinDent students in Periodontology accompanied by some of their teachers took part in this student-led symposium.
Research and clinical presentations by students focused on the treatment of periodontal intrabony defects and peri-implantitis lesions.
The sessions were very interactive and created a fantastic opportunity for students to exchange ideas, approaches and treatment protocol in a relaxed environment. The symposium was followed by a social afterwards.
