Enhanced COVID-19 testing for areas within Lambeth

Testing is recommended for people who live, work or travel through much of the borough

London landscape

Following the increase in cases of COVID-19 Delta variant identified in Clapham, Brixton, Stockwell, West Norwood and Vauxhall, the government is strongly encouraging everyone over the age of 11 who lives, works or travels through these areas, and doesn’t have coronavirus symptoms to take a COVID-19 PCR test as soon as possible.

This also applies to all our students and staff who are coming to our campuses or living in any of our residences. If you have been vaccinated, you should still get a PCR test either on campus via KCL TEST or at a surge testing centre. Please note, lateral flow tests are not suitable as a surge test.

The tests can be booked by phone or online, or you can go to a local surge testing site or have a kit sent to your home, please see the Lambeth borough website for information.

If you have symptoms of coronavirus you will need to self-isolate and book a free NHS test. Please complete the King’s self-isolation form so we can support you.

We ask that you continue to remain vigilant and follow the health and safety guidance, keeping a safe distance, wearing face coverings unless exempt and washing your hands or using a hand sanitiser regularly. All students and staff who are coming on to campus or living in our residences, are expected to take regular asymptomatic COVID-19 tests and can continue to take part in KCL TEST.
