Department of Chemistry climbs QS rankings
The Department of Chemistry has climbed 60 places in the latest QS World University rankings, published on 6 April 2022. The Department is now in the top 100 worldwide, and the top 10 (number 8) in the UK for Chemistry.
The QS rankings compare universities world wide across six areas - academic reputation, employer reputation, staff/student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio and international student ratio.
Commenting on the latest ranking, Professor Paula Booth, Head of the Department of Chemistry , said:
“We are pleased that we continue to climb the world rankings. Our top 10 position in the UK shows the success of our vision for a new style of chemistry in a small and collegiate department and bodes well for our future growth.”
