The A&H Student Awards 2025 was a fantastic event to close out the year, recognising the remarkable contributions of our students. With over 120 nominations across eight categories, the awards showcased the dedication and talent within the A&H community. A big congratulations to all nominees and award winners, whose efforts in organising events, launching new initiatives, and fostering collegiate spirit were celebrated.

Arts & Humanities 2025 Student Awards winners announced
The annual King’s Arts & Humanities Student Awards recognises outstanding contributions by student representatives, mentors, and community champions.

Held on 26 March at King’s,students from the Faculty of Arts & Humanities were honoured at the annual award ceremony. The event celebrated the achievements of students across various categories, acknowledging their dedication to enhancing the university experience. The winners were announced by Professor Simon Tanner, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities (Interim).
This year’s winners were:
- Rep of the Year (UG): Penelope Spencer Simpson (Highly commended: Jacinda Wheatley)
- Rep of the Year (PGT): Aojing Liu (Highly commended: Isabelle Leech)
- Rep of the Year (PGR): Juuso Rantanen (Highly commended: Zhixuan [Grace] Li)
- Initiative of the Year: Andrea Farina and Ethan Lim Kai (Highly commended: Emma Bradley)
- Community Champion: Miriam Talabi (Highly commended: Angelina Kuhn and Gayathri Krishnan)
- EDI Award: Esther Ezegbe (Highly commended: Emma Howard-Littlefield)
- GTA Award: Markus Beeken (Highly commended: Ruisen Zheng)
- Mentor of the Year: Niamh Daniels (Highly commended: Faran Shaheen)













The ceremony also featured live music from the KCL Jazz Society.

The awards showcase the commitment of students in Arts & Humanities to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Congratulations to all winners and nominees!
