Anita Bhatia appointed Visiting Professor at King's Global Institute for Women's Leadership
Anita Bhatia brings decades of experience in international development and women's empowerment
King’s Global Institute for Women’s Leadership is pleased to welcome Anita Bhatia as a Visiting Professor.
As the former Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy Executive Director of UN Women, Anita has been a leading force in advancing women’s empowerment worldwide.
She also brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across key roles at the World Bank Group, including the International Finance Corporation – a $32 billion entity and the world's largest investor in emerging markets.
Drawing on her expertise in global leadership, international development, government partnerships and gender equality advocacy, Anita will provide strategic advice to GIWL and connect the institute to key networks.
“I’m delighted that Anita will be joining the GIWL visiting faculty. Her expertise and advice will be a huge asset to the institute at a critical time in the fight for gender equality. I look forward to collaborating closely with her as GIWL embarks on a new strategic plan following its move to King’s Business School.”
