Two postgraduate students from the Department of Informatics presented their vision for how Artificial Intelligence can help provide personalised learning for all students at the 2021 London Student Sustainability Conference. Abhiram Ravikumar (MSc Data Science) and Misha Zahid (MSc Advanced Computing) believe that AI is the key to making sure that all students, even in the most deprived parts of the world, can receive high quality education.

The London Student Sustainability Conference is a student-led conference that highlights research and initiatives from across London universities that make a positive impact on the world. Commenting on the inspiration for the personalised learning project, Abhiram said

Sustainability is the need of the hour and quality education is one of its integral parts. Studying Data Science at King's, I've always been inspired at building and researching AI-based solutions to foster quality education and this project is one such step towards that goal.

The conference was co-hosted by King's.
