Postgraduate taught degrees

Studying mathematics at King’s will put you in one of the leading centres of mathematical teaching and research, working with and learning from some of the foremost mathematical minds in the world.


As a postgraduate student, you can take your mathematical study to an advanced level in which you will be pushing at the frontiers of human understanding. With courses such as Complex Systems Modelling, Theoretical Physics and Financial Mathematics, you can explore the very latest thinking in a wide range of specialist mathematical disciplines. Many of these have direct and highly valued relevance to activities in scientific research, engineering and finance as well as leading to further academic study.

Martingale Scholarships at King's

The Martingale Foundation awards fully funded Scholarships for postgraduate degrees in the mathematical sciences at research universities, including right here at King's.

Tuition fees and research expenses are fully covered, and Scholars receive a tax free living wage stipend. Martingale Scholars also receive access to leadership and career develop through a multi-year programme of training and support.
