Welcome to King’s Social Journal!
We analyse pressing issues faced by society today, which we have grouped into four themes:
- Gender & Sexuality
- Race & Ethnicity
- Environment & Society
- Education, Childhood & Youth
Led by students from the BA Social Sciences, in King's School of Education, Communication & Society, the blog encourages different perspectives, aiming to engage and inform King’s students, as well as people beyond the institution, on issues of inequality and social justice.
Promoting critical thinking, the King's Social Journal shows the importance of taking an interdisciplinary approach to analysing today’s society. The engaging nature of the blog will spark the imagination, so let your ideas take unordinary directions and write some catchy pieces!
With this blog, we bring together students interested in inequality and social justice, blog writing and editing, who have something they feel is important to share with the world. We want to give people the chance to express their academic ideas in an accessible and creative way so that collectively, we can create an impactful blog.
