Applying for jobs at King's
Tips to help you put together your application
We are delighted you are considering applying for a role at King's College London. We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse environment to attract and retain top talent. Our recruitment process is designed to select the best candidates for each role while ensuring fairness and compliance.
Here is a brief overview of our recruitment process, with links to help you put together your application.
Internal applicants are current employees of King’s, including agency-employed workers and students.
If the vacancy is marked as ‘internal only’, you will need a King’s ID. Internal applicants should apply through their HR digital services portal, regardless of whether the role is internal or external. You don’t need to register a new account.
If you are an internal candidate without access to HR digital services, all internal vacancies can be accessed via the external job board and will be clearly marked as internal. Affiliates and students without access to HR digital services should also apply through the external King’s jobs website.
The deadline for applications is 23:59 (London time) on the date specified on the job advert unless otherwise stated.
You’ll receive an email confirming that we have received your application. We’ll also let you know whether or not you’ve been shortlisted for an interview. Please make sure that your contact details, especially your email address are up to date, as we are likely to contact you via email.
For tips to help you put together your application and supporting statement visit our Applying for jobs at King’s page. If you would like to know more about the position before submitting your application, you can arrange a discussion with a member of our staff. Just follow the contact details provided in the job advert for more information.
When reviewing your application, we'll assess how well it meets the criteria outlined in the job description. Applicants who best match the criteria will be shortlisted and invited to an interview. We'll let you know the outcome, whether successful or not. Please note: due to the high number of applications, we can only provide feedback to those attending an interview.
