About us:
We are a team of Business Analysts based within IT Solutions in the IT Directorate at King’s. We are a vertical team working across multiple agile teams and Agile Release Trains to deliver IT change in a scaled agile environment. We work together to mature our service and develop ourselves. We have an outward mindset and foster strong working relationships with horizontal partners across King’s and beyond.
About the role:
Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making and improve business processes. Assess and analyse problems, identify needs, analyse data, and help develop solutions that enhance operational efficiency, maximise value and help King’s achieve it’s strategic goals.
Working with stakeholders and a cohesive Agile Release Train, support the design and implementation of new IT solutions or significant change, collaborate on activities towards service transition, playing a key part in ensuring solutions are designed, implemented, and adopted to deliver value to our stakeholders.
They will be highly motivated, innovative and organised, working horizontally aligned to a value stream and vertically aligned with the rest of our team, striving to continually improve the service we offer and ensure analysis is delivered to the highest quality.
This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- Relevant Experience, Qualifications & Training - A variety of work and educational backgrounds can contribute to success in this role. This includes experience in educational settings or large organizations, and educational qualifications such as higher education in a related field, Business Analysis qualifications, Leadership development, or other relevant training
- Business Analysis Expertise: Business Situation Analysis, Feasibility Assessment, Business Modelling, Requirements Definition, Management & Backlog Refinement, Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Communication & Networking - Communicates information clearly and precisely, translating between technical and non-technical colleagues to ensure understanding by both, build and sustain internal and external networks
- Decision Making, Planning & Problem Solving - Make collaborative decisions, manage own workload, plan and lead pieces of work, resolve problems using initiative and creativity
- Service Delivery - Interact with internal and external contacts, interpret stakeholder requirements and utilise data to inform decision-making and improve service delivery
Desirable criteria
- Business Analysis Certification (via BCS, IIBA or other)
- Experience working in a scaled agile environment
- Experience working with Azure DevOps
- Complementary skills such as change management, lean, architecture, exploiting AI
