Join a dynamic team dedicated to creating an exceptional campus experience at our university. We are seeking a motivated and organized Campus Operations Administrator to support our Denmark Hill Operations Team.

About the Role

THIS VACANCY IS OPEN TO INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY

As the Campus Operations Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing the office and providing administrative support to the senior Campus Operations Management Team. Your responsibilities will include overseeing local aspects of the Service Desk, ensuring a customer-focused service for our end users, and facilitating effective communication through meetings and user forums.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Act as Office Manager and Administrator for the Denmark Hill Operations Team.
  • Provide Personal Assistant support to senior Campus Operations Management Team members.
  • Manage the local Service Desk operations, ensuring a customer-centric approach for end users.
  • Schedule, minute, and report on departmental meetings, building user groups, and user forums.
  • Coordinate HR administration for departmental meetings and user forums.
  • Manage health and safety paperwork and ensure compliance within the department.
  • Lead the coordination of minor non-technical projects.

This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

  1. Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
  2. Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office packages Word and Excel
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. Self-motivated and good organiser, with a meticulous eye for detail
  5. Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise work
  6. Numerate and with an understanding of budgets
  7. Professional and positive approach to work
  8. Skilled at complaint handling & service recovery

Desirable criteria

  1. Demonstrable H&S experience and knowledge (preferably with IOSH/NEBOSH qualification)
  2. Secretarial or administrative experience
  3. Familiarity with working in the Higher Education Sector
  4. Experience of delivering to SLAs and KPIs
