About the Role

We’re looking for two Creative Content Producers to join us, supporting the work of the team through creative content production that brings King’s ambitions, achievements and distinctiveness to life.

The successful candidates will support our external digital content production as well as internal communications and strategic project output. They will be experienced at multimedia and possess the skills to produce engaging content for our digital channels, including video and/or audio production (e.g. videos and podcasts), graphics, photography and animation. 

Working as part of our new customer focused content team, the successful candidates will work collaboratively to shine a light on King’s mission and purpose, delivering creative content that showcases our world-class education, research and impact on the world.  

This is a full time (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.

We follow a hybrid working model with staff able to work remotely two or three days a week with the rest of the time spent in our central London office.

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

  1. Strong video/audio production skills and a high level of proficiency in software enabling video editing, graphic design, animation, podcast production etc. (E.g. Adobe Creative Suite; Final Cut Pro) 
  2. Proven experience of creative content production across all or some of the following: graphic design, video, audio, social media, photography  
  3. Proven experience of working with a brand identity 
  4. Demonstrable ability to translate complex messages into accessible and engaging content 
  5. Excellent writing and storytelling skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to produce copy for a variety of different channels and audiences
  6. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities at pace
  7. Educated to degree level or equivalent

Desirable criteria

  1. Experience of working in an academic environment 
  2. Bilingual or multi-lingual speaker and writer 
  3. Experience and interest in international content and channels e.g. QQ; Weibo
